Tomás Eduardo Rincón Hernández, commonly known as Tomás Rincón, is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Venezuela national team and Serie A club Genoa. He was born on January 13, 1988, in San Cristóbal, Venezuela.
Rincón began his professional career at local club Zamora FC in Venezuela, before moving to European football with German club Hamburger SV in 2009. He also had stints with Italian clubs Genoa and Juventus, as well as Spanish club Málaga, before returning to Genoa in 2020.
Known for his tenacity, work rate, and leadership qualities, Rincón is considered one of the best Venezuelan footballers of his generation. He has been a key player for the Venezuela national team, representing his country in multiple Copa America tournaments and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
